Paladin

Paladins in Emicara are almost always exclusive to the Church of the One Sun and the Church of Keshush, as they represent the epitome of a warrior for faith. The intensive training bestowed upon a paladin brings them power that most within the Church rarely experience except the mightiest clerics. The pantheons and other faiths do occasionally generate Paladins of their own, and they are rare and greatly revered when they do emerge. These paladins are considered somewhat self-taught and are usually directly anointed by the god or goddess they serve.   Adventurer Disclaimer: As an adventurer you are automatically an exception to racial rules! The story is about you, and therefore, you can be expected to break boundaries the majority of people in the world of Emicara are typically restrained to.   Paladin's oaths are typically a deeply personal matter, and are rarely shared with the public outside of their own orders and faiths. Therefore the oath you select will typically just gauge your own behavior and the response of your church and deity towards your actions. Oathbreakers are an exception to this, as many gods have ways to mark those who fail in their duties as a paladin, and the Churches have far more physical means of doing so. An oathbreaker who survives the process of being marked will typically have to contend with being hunted by other paladins and monks for the rest of their natural lives.
