Teva: Rebellion in the Apps

Teva is a well-known town in the eastern part of Alsona and over the years has been only marginally part of the Alsonan kingdom. In the distant past it was a city built into the mountains surpassing the size and strength of both Pegrama and Parthenonas combined, along with its sister city of Reva further along the Long Road. It thrived both from the minerals dug out from below the city and the trade from the dwarven citadels in the Apps Mountains. Eventually it was conquered by the Alsonan armies and made part of the Kingdom. Over the following centuries, it waged rebellion after rebellion, attempting to declare its freedom once again. The book discusses that while eventually the rebel activity stopped, there has been a resurgence in rebellion with the dwarven influx and the discovery of what is now known as Borvalt Teva, an ancient dwarven city built under the human one. The book speculates that not long from now Teva could earn a new reputation for revolt against the kingdom.
