Torpek Volgy (Tore-peck vol-gee)

Torpek Volgy is the long lost heartland of the dwarves. Believed to have been the center of dwarven civilization in Emicara, it was populated by no less than five different dwarven citadels, each famous for its wealth and prosperity. Valtkos Arany was the wealthiest of these, and they are believed to have been the oldest of dwarven settlements in Emicara. Ultimately the valley was abandoned after a red dragon flew in from the north and laid it to waste, occupying it and seizing the treasure of the valley for itself. Other catastrophes led to the fall of dwarven civilization, which the strongholds further south never recovered.

  Torpek Volgy, otherwise known as the Heart of Dwarvenkind, was once the center of their civilization. Host to five great dwarven citadels delved deep into the earth, it possessed the great innovations, technologies, and wealth that the dwarves have ever assembled. Today, it is lost, and all that remains of its existence and notoriety is among the scattered maps left behind in other dwarven citadels.
