Xaetha

Xaetha is the goddess of tyranny, destruction, and murder. She is the evil counterpart of Lanos. Unlike Lanos, she is not commonly revered, simply because the average "jack on the street" is not attracted to heinous tyranny.

Worship of Xaetha is outlawed in many civilized places, but secret cults dedicated to Xaetha are unfortunately common. Xaetha actively encourages this type of worship, as it allows these subversive groups to blindside churches of Lanos.

Loria is technically headed by King Vedrif, but in practice Vedrif is actually a puppet for the Church of Xaetha, who uses his power to impose Xaetha's will on the kingdom. This is unknown by the general populace, but Westgate is beginning to become suspicious of Vedrif's rulership.

When Xaetha must come down to the Mortal World, she appears as an enormous black dragon that puffs smoke from its nostrils. She rarely appears outside of dreams, but when she does, desolation always follows. Her appearance portends doom and devastation wherever she was seen.
