Elbixur

(a.k.a. Ritual/Tradition)


Elbixur is an aspect of Ylithuum and a mental aspect. It consists of emotions or desire for tradition, ritual, repetition, habit, obstinance, loyalty and routine. Its counterpart is Charnos which represents emotions of or desire for change, innovation, novelty, originality, inspiration, independence, and spontaneity. Both are important within societies and social groups.

Racial Manifestations



When Ylithuum gifted all lifeforms with her magic, each life form was capable of receiving two gifts. Each of these blessings would grant the lifeform a connection to a specific aspect and this connection could be utilized in a given way. These gifts were passed down to their descendants as well and eventually beings came to call these gifts Racial Magic. These are named by the aspect a caster is connected to and by how they can use it, how they manifest their connection.

Manifestations

Manipulation
Can manipulate emotions or states related to Elbixur of those around them, if they are occurring.

Aura
Can generate temporary emotions or states related to Elbixur in those around them.

Shadow
Can generate illusions or hallucinations fueled by the part of a target's mind space which is connected to Elbixur.

Eye
Can see emotions, thoughts and states related to Elbixur as an aura around targets and learn details about these thoughts and emotions of targets by staring into their eyes.

Sense
Can sense emotions, thoughts and states related to Elbixur of those around them and learn details about these emotions and thoughts by touching a target.

Binding
Able to bind specific emotions, thoughts or memories related to Elbixur and restrict a target's access to them.

Mind
Able to enter a meditative state, mentally entering the target's mind space connected to Elbixur. They can experience thoughts, emotions and even memories stored here but cannot access the rest of the target's mind space.

Vision
Able to enter a meditative state in which the caster can explore and peek through portals or windows within Elbixur's Plane.

Apathy
Able to block a target's access to emotions, states or memories related to Elbixur.

Empathy
Can enable target's to experience or share each other's emotions, thoughts and memories related to Elbixur and can project their own Elbixur emotions.

Shield
These casters are immune to all Elbixur magic and can turn off their own ability to experience these emotions and memories.

Touch
Able to inflict a state of extreme nostalgia or intense repetition.

Step
Allows the caster to physically enter Elbixur's Plane, using themselves as a portal, and explore the plane. They can enter mental spaces connected to the plane, but this can be extremely dangerous.
