Fliris
(a.k.a. Movement)
Fliris is an aspect of Rylis and is a physical aspect. However, it is unique compared to most physical aspects. Fliris is more of a physical force or mechanic manipulated and altered. Fliris revolves around movement, flight, velocity and freedom of movement. It possesses and enables a variety of abilities. These include enabling or disabling flight regardless of physical adaption, alteration of velocity or direction of movement, slipping through solid matter, increased speed or agility and even peculiar shrinking capabilities. The primary concept is freedom of movement despite would be barriers. It's counterpart, Gokrilvek, revolves instead around gravity, inertia, strength and stability. Kinetic energy and velocity are mechanics of Fliris while inertia and weight are more characteristic of Gokrilvek.
Racial Manifestations
When Rylis gifted all lifeforms with their magic, each life form was capable of receiving two gifts. Each of these blessings would grant the lifeform a connection to a specific aspect and this connection could be utilized in a given way. These gifts were passed down to their descendants as well and eventually beings came to call these gifts Racial Magic. These are named by the aspect a caster is connected to and by how they can use it, how they manifest their connection.
Manifestations
Manipulation
Able to manipulate movement, velocity and flight of those around them as it occurs.
Aura
Able to generate short bursts of flight, decreased gravity, increased speed, velocity or agility and decreases in size for themselves or others.
Movement
Able to step, walk or move freely, unhindered by normal physics. Includes increased speed and agility and unearthly, unpredictable motions. Can adjust the velocity and movements of their own body.
Slip
Cannot be impeded by physical matter, slipping right through. They can move with increasing, cumulative velocity but have poor control the faster they go.
Eye
Can perceive speed and velocity exactly and precisely just by watching.
Sense
Can sense the movements occurring around them and perceive speed and velocity despite any barriers.
Touch
Can shrink themselves or inorganic matter via touch.
Charge
Can absorb and store up kinetic energy inside their bodies. They can convert this to magic energy, transfer the energy to a target or re-release it like an aura.
Breath
Able to exhale a wind that increases the speed of those moving away from the caster to but slows the approach of those moving towards them.
Push
Able to push everything away from themselves, an invisible force pushing bodies and materials from the caster at the epicenter.
Shield
Immune to negative effects and/or damage from all movement magic and cannot be damaged by high speed collisions or falling, their motion slows and/or stops just before impact.
Vision
Able to enter a meditative state in which the caster can explore and peek through portals or windows within Fliris' Plane.
Step
Allows the person to step into and out of Fliris' Plane, using their own bodies as a portal if they can attain a given speed.
Agility
The caster is able to move with increased agility and speed, fueled by their magic.
