Itri Raven

Endlessly mysterious and insightful, these ravens peek into the future and read the strands of fate --either sharing these as illusions of trading their prophecies for treasure amid desert sands! Native to northern Alkelbulan, Itri Ravens are a symbol of cosmic knowledge or are believed to be mesengers for the divines. Itri rely on their keen perception to survive the invisible radioactive threats of Shamsi and on their predictive abilities for hunting, assessing threats and evading disaster--or just for the fun of messing with their human neighbors! Strikingly intelligent, these corvids have been known to lead lost and weary humans to oases in exchange for shiny trinkets or scraps of food. But remain wary, they will know if you intend to deceive them! Itri ravens are also popular as a familiar or beast companion for seers and mystics, the Quiris associating them with aspects of Lithmor and Sylthari herself.

First Ability

Rithaldis' Eye

Those with Rithaldis's Eye are able to see radiant energy and using radiant energy, including ionizing radiation, sunlight and solar plasma regardless of any obstructions. These ravens can see the intensity of radiation in their environment, essential to its survival in Shamsi, but they can also see anything interacting with these forces as they draw information from Rithaldis' Plane itself.

Sylthari's Eye

Those with Sylthari's Eye are able to see clearly with even the tinest source of celestial light including starlight, moonlight and even sunlight regardless of any obstructions. They can see lights that may not be visible to the ordinary eye, including ionizing radiation, essential for itri ravens living in Shamsi. The more intense this light, the clearer their sight. Yet Sylthari is simultaneously a mental and physical element. Beyond their ability to see all kinds of light, these corvids can see the delicate strings of destiny and fate which are ever shifting, guiding them towards fortune. This ability waxes and wanes with the moon and strengthens underneath certain constellations, sometimes enabling them to glean prophecies!

Second Ability

Sylthari's Shadow

Those with Sylthari's Shadow can generate illusions or hallucinations related to Sylthari. These can either cause charming, fixation, trances, drowsiness, dreams, etc. or these enact prophecies of a target's impending fate. They can select who can and cant see these or keep these fortunes to themselves but they have no control over the content of these illusions--their fate reveals itself with the raven as a mere conduit! Only works at night, the potency waxing and waning with the moon cycle.

Sylthari's Vision

Able to enter a meditative state and explore and peek through Sylthari's Plane. This is an excellent way to explore space and observe celestial activity but most alluring are the prophecies hidden within this plane. Cryptic visions of potential futures wait within, granting these ravens prophetic guidance and wisdom. This ability is highly prized for those seeking a familiar!
