Torith
(a.k.a. Toxin)
Torith is an aspect of Dalyeric and is a physical aspect. It revolves around toxins, poisons, enzyme inhibitors. This aspect is probably the one least involved with the process of decaying physical matter on a large scale, but it is still related to necrosis, breakdown or attack of living cells and an opposing force to its counterpart. It is also intricately tied do Dalyeric's other aspects, often a product or tool for for bugs, fungi and bacteria and, like the other aspects, is closely tied to the death and break down of a body. It's counterpart Ylixa, acids and enzymes, interacts and opposes Torith while still playing vital roles within the cells of an organism. Both are equally feared by humanity and poorly understood. Torith plays various roles, useful for predation, defense and as an agent of tissue damage and decay. In the hands of humans, can be used as a weapon, as recreational drugs and also holds uses in medicine.
When Dalyeric gifted all lifeforms with their magic, each life form was capable of receiving two gifts. Each of these blessings would grant the lifeform a connection to a specific aspect and this connection could be utilized in a given way. These gifts were passed down to their descendants as well and eventually beings came to call these gifts Racial Magic. These are named by the aspect a caster is connected to and by how they can use it, how they manifest their connection.
Racial Manifestations
When Dalyeric gifted all lifeforms with their magic, each life form was capable of receiving two gifts. Each of these blessings would grant the lifeform a connection to a specific aspect and this connection could be utilized in a given way. These gifts were passed down to their descendants as well and eventually beings came to call these gifts Racial Magic. These are named by the aspect a caster is connected to and by how they can use it, how they manifest their connection.
Manifestations
Manipulation
Able to manipulate poison present in their environment.
Aura
Able to summon or generate a type of poison.
Movement
Able to walk, step or move on or through poison.
Slip
Able to allow their body to interact with physical matter similarly to a kind of poison, the material will also be affected as if by that poison.
Eye
Able to see poisons present around them, large or microscopic, and can tell both their kind and properties.
Sense
Able to feel their environment using poison, feel anything interacting with these poison and sense what kinds of poison are in their environment despite barriers.
Skin
Can produce a kind of poison from their skin, building up layers and expanding this mineral around themselves in different shapes or even lace poison into their sweat.
Touch
Can afflict someone with a kind of poison via touch, the longer this touch lasts the more poison in imparted and spread.
Craft
Able to craft new, unique poisons with varying properties/effects.
Venom
They can afflict a given poison via bite or scratch, injecting it like as a venom.
Blood
A poison runs through their blood and can permeate through the skin of a target upon contact.
Diet
Can eat any kind of poison without ill effect and these can be eaten for sustenance or to replenish magic energy.
Breath
Can exhale a poisonous cloud and can inhale any poison without consequence.
Shield
Immune to negative effects and/or damage from all toxin magic and naturally occurring poisons.
Will
Can produce poisons which amplify the magic of others upon contact or extend this effect into poison already present. Only amplifies dark, water, air, decay or beast magic. This will still affect targets as the poison normally would.
Vision
Able to enter a meditative state in which the caster can explore and peek through portals or windows within Torith's Plane.
Step
Can enter and exit Torith's Plane via portals and travel the plane freely, without injury. Can bring another with them while maintaining contact.
Form
Can convert parts of their body into a poison or has this poison incorporated into their form.
Body
Can convert entire body into any poison and merge with or travel along other poison.
