The timeline showing the known history of Birit Narim, stretching back before the Downfall of the Erlithmanil.
A staggeringly long, overarching era where Zalikar acted as King of the Erlithmanil. The Erlithmanil ruled over all of Emynea as dieties, each having their own favored empires throughout millenia.
The Kingdom of Kengir was the first to develop as a civilization in northern Alkelbulan after Zalikar's last purge of civilization, guided by Lithmor in Birit Narim. Eventually, this kingdom was overtaken by King Sarruumkiin of the Akkadi Empire.
The first empire in Birit Narim, the Akkadi Empire. These were an al-Mashriq people led by King Sarruumkiin, who conquered 34 cities himself! Akkadi stretched all the way into Kna'an, Parsa and parts of the Frozen Wastes. The royal line of Akkadi made a fatal, vain mistake: while Lithmor was abroad the king of Akkadi attacked Enkur, Lithmor's Seat and the holy temple of the gods, pilfering their offerings. The Erlithmanil appeared before the people of Akkadi, uttering a curse to them before leveling their temples and destroying their offerings.
This empire was founded by the King Hammurapi of the Tidnum people. Hammurapi managed to regain the favor of Lithmor, restablishing economic stability and order in Birit Narim. His dynasty was short lived after his death, falling under the control of a series of outside powers until the Aturaye destroyed Bibil only to rebuild it for themselves. Under the Aturaye, the Kingdom of Babil saw a golden age but hid their cruelties amid conquest from Lithmor. When she learned of their deception, Lithmor rose her temple into the sky above and began seeking out a human hero to be her champion, to avenge her.
The construction of Etemenanki in Babil took several lifetimes to complete, a mountain sized ziggurat dedicated to the Erlithmanil, especially Lithmor. Lithmor moved her Seat into her temple atop Etemenanki and lived among her worshippers, guiding in the continued construction within Babil. Yet she was tricked by the Akkadi rulers once again. She moved Etemenanki, its palace grounds and fortresses into the sky above Babil, allowing only her cult of guardians into this lofty structure, which grew to become Dawn Ahrayn.
Eventually, Lithmor settled on Kurus of Parsa as her human champion against those who had deceived her. Blessed with powerful light magic, Kurus was able to conquer all of Parsa and Birit Narim, walking into Bilim uncontested. With Babil as his capital, Kurus continued his conquests and created the Xsaça Empire. It was also at this point Lithmor began collecting followers to guard and defend her Seat, one by one. Eventually, Babil was overtaken by the famous Hellenes-Quiris conqueror. Birit Narim swung between the rule of the Irani Eransahr Empire and the Quiris-Hellenes Arsacid Empire up until the Downfall of the Erlithmanil. The Arabiyy of Khalifah al-Rasul overtook Birit Narim in the absence of their goddess and it has reamined under Ilnid's control ever since.
