Aurient City

Aurient is the Capital City of the Dragon Empire. Jewel of the Dragon's Tail Archipelago, cultural centre, and headquarters of the great bureaucracies that keep the wheels of empire ticking over. There are multiple Districts to the city - The Imperial Palace District, the twinned neighbourhoods of the Departments for Home and Foreign Affairs, the great Imperial dockyards, and the busy chattering networks of spiderfarms and silk weaveries in Arachnia, the Kobold district of the New Gift, divided into the Temple District of Drachar, and the sprawling slums of Swinetown, and the government estates stretching to the east of the city in row after monotonous row.
