Qualifications

Must divest themselves of their business interests upon elevation.

Requirements

Generally accepted to need to be greater than 40 to be elevated.

Appointment

Upon agreement from each Cities Council the individual is Elevated to his office. This is both metaphorical and physical. There they are expected to take at least 72 hours to review the current state of international relations with the prior Master and review the Articles that spell out their responsibilities and powers.

Duties

Their duty is to be a singular point of contact for the other nations. Internally they have almost no power under normal circumstances.

Responsibilities

Few day to day responsibilities.

Benefits

Monetary compensation and both an immunity to most internal laws, and free services make the position quite desirable.

Grounds for Removal/Dismissal

There is an impeachment process that is rarely needed.
