Akshara was born into a wealthy merchant family, known for their lucrative trade routes and vast fleet of ships. She was given a trading vessel to captain, but she quickly became dissatisfied. She was always drawn to the stories of legendary pirates and sought adventure beyond her comfortable life. So when her ship was attacked by Captain Ursula's crew, Akshara convinced Ursula to let her join the pirates as their quartermaster after she proved her worth in battle and experience as a leader.
