Qyrek
Basic Information
Anatomy
Qyrek are a humanoid in shape, but lack one very distinct feature. They do not have arms. Instead a Qyrek manipulate things in the world through use of telekinesis. Qyrek can lift up to two different objects at a time or focus on one bigger object. The more intelligent a Qyrek is, the heavier an object that it lifts can be. The telekinetic range is similar to an average person’s reach. They have cone shaped heads and slim bodies. Spiky hair sprouts from the flat of their head.
Qyrek come in two varieties called Moz and Mazz. Moz are larger and have a larger telekinetic reach while Mazz are smaller but have a stronger telekinetic force.
Biological Traits
Advanced Position Calculations: A Qyrek’s brain is capable to not only recall information, but predict with precision as well. Qyrek gain +12 to Scry on a person, place or thing they have encountered recently.
Automatic Redistribution Boost: All points of Strength and all gained points of Strength are randomly distributed among other abilities. Strength must always equal zero.
Enhanced Cerebral Awareness: The brain of a Qyrek is high functioning and more enhanced than other species. They gain a +3 to Knowledge.
Mind Strength: Replace Strength with Intelligence on all instances that require it.
Magical Smarts: Qyreks are intuitive about combining logic with magic. Due to this, they understand alchemy, magical devices, enchanting , scroll making and the like much more thoroughly. Whenever a Qyrek uses a skill under the Basic Skill of Magic, they may reroll. If they do they must take the second roll. This ability is nullified if the Qyrek chooses Technological Smarts in character creation.
No Arms: Cannot pull oneself up onto anything. Qyreks have a -50 to Climbing and a -25 to Swim.
Telekinesis: Qyrek can lift up to (INT/10 min. 2) different objects at a time or focus on one bigger object. Within 4m of the character if Moz and within 2m of the character if Mazz, they can lift objects. In relation to carry weight, sub Strength for Intelligence for telekinetic lift max. When lifting multiple objects, each object's weight is calculated into total weight lifted. A Qyrek cannot lift oneself, lift an object oneself is standing on or a creature that is carrying oneself. Mazz has a 1.5x telekinetic lift max. When picking up an unwilling creature, the creature must make a contested FOR check against the Qyrek's INT.
Technological Smarts: Qyreks are intuitive about combining logic with technology. Due to this, they understand machines, weaponry, advanced devices and the like much more thoroughly. Whenever a Qyrek makes a Craft(Technology), Energy Shield, Energy Weapons, or Knowledge(Technology) check, they may reroll. If they do they must take the second roll. This ability is nullified if the Qyrek chooses Magical Smarts in character creation.
Genetics and Reproduction
Reproduction requires a Moz and a Mazz. Through an intense telekinetic and telepathic battle, a child is born. It is born in a burst of energy within the overlapping telekinetic range. The child inherits the genetic makeup with 75% from the winner of the battle and, 25% from loser. The child is born of the type that was the victor.

Qyrekii
History
Living in small city-states all over the planet, the Qyrek are solitary species. A long time ago, the original Qyrekii city was set up in the ruins of an ancient city. In the city they discovered a mystical device that made passages to other ruined cities. The Qyrek grew to inhabit all of these cities across the globe. Which city was the original city was lost to time, so their region of origin is unknown. Additional cities were added to their control by migrants, but don’t have this mystical teleporter. The largest city-states all are connected by this device though. The revere in science and literature. Some take it as far to even use knowledge as a currency, not accepting traditional forms of money. Qyrek are one of few that allow magic as a normal thing. Many Qyrek turn to be mages. The scholar’s life follows the one of a mage well. Qyrekii Warriors use special weapons without hilts, as they have no use for them. While a frail scholar might not look the part, Qyrekii Bladesmen are some of the most feared on the planet.
