Faoilist Gods
The gods of the Faoilism are the focus of the belief of Survivors. Despite suspicion of being a cause of the Calamity, this group still receives regular prayers and sacrifices from Survivors. Each member is either a Major God, or a Minor God. As of 1488, the current Gods are ranked as such:
Major God
- Ligoul, Weaver of Fate
- Domur, Host of Civility
- Ellidean, Master of Elements
Minor God
- Multa, Enabler of Abundance
- Fueriga, Burning Heart of Passion
- Inigo, Explorer of Novelty
Structure
While some Gods may have overlapping jurisdiction, their power over one another is not set in stone. Rather, the more faith generated from believers in one god is what makes them more powerful. Because of this, many external factors that change what followers want or need can switch around Gods' roles, from Major to Minor or vice-versa.
Public Agenda
While the Gods' main purpose has been to make mortal living as convenient and easy as possible, each member has their own personal agendas and ideals that may conflict with this.
History
The gods of Faoilism achieved their status in year 0, or the start of the new era, after Juril defeated Balaneus and freed the peoples of the world from his wrath. As Juril's aides in his quest, the Gods of today were elevated from mortal beings into their modern seats of power.
The Gods have had their share of power imbalances and struggles against one another ever since, but they have consistently come back together for the mortals that worship them and for the mortals they once were.
