Valley of Corrupted Gravity
Being posted at the entrance of the Valley might seem a boring and uninteresting job but, let me tell you, it's not. Not only do you have to take care of not getting hit by all the floating rocks colliding into one another, but you also have to be careful of monsters that try and escape once in a while.

Geography
Initially called the Serenia Valley about 11 millennia ago, the Valley of Corrupted Gravity is an area of metamagic corruption located in the western part of the midlands. Within its influence, the usual gravitational pull of the planet is nullified with only erratic gravitational eddies pulling objects together in an erratic fashion.
In and of itself, the region does not have any geography to speak of, consisting only of many rocky bodies floating withing the corruption field and bound only by their own gravitational pull. As such, any attempt to map the ever-changing layout of the valley has only given partial answer when trying to describe the area.
From the outside, the valley is surrounded by rocky hoodoos on all sides, making access difficult. These hoodoos are theorized as being the result of being on the edge of the anomaly.
Fauna & Flora
The valley consisting mostly of floating boulders, flora is typically rarely found here. Only lager sized rocks at a lower altitude (where oxygen is sufficient for a thriving flora) support any type of flora. Due to the high level of humidity in the region, a lot of the fauna is reminiscent of that found in jungles and marshes.
In terms of fauna however, the Valley presents a unique ecosystem of magical creatures that use the magical energies found naturally in the region to sustain themselves. Creatures found within the area are generally very aggressive and territorial and will not let anyone or anything approach what the creature considers it's territory.
Natural Resources
Although the gravitational anomaly makes prospection difficult, early reports claim that the valley itself is full of minerals and rare metal. What makes the region interesting from a geological standpoint is that most deep-earth metals are, in fact, easily accessible in the region since huge segments of rock are simply floating in the air. Unfortunately, the necessity to climbing an high altitude to reach those minerals makes mining those resources both a dangerous and expensive endeavor. Because of this, mass scale mining of the region is not currently considered by most Tiberoan mining guilds.
