Bahamut, the Platinum Dragon
A god of justice and war, Bahamut is the Father of Dragons, creating them in union with his former lover, Tiamat. The King of the Good Dragons rules over the metallic Dragons, specifically, although he has earned some chromatic Dragon converts in recent millenia. Bahamut had dealings with mortals and their gods for ages before he sent his Dragons to Endunia to fight the Giants, but his worship blossomed when he appeared on Endunia himself to drive off the tyrannical Tiamat. Unlike most Dragons, Bahamut values wisdom, knowledge, prophecies and poetry over material wealth. Despite his fight with Tiamat causing the Great Barrier to be erected in the first place, Bahamut is known to frequently send an aspect of his to Endunia to travel the lands. It is believed that the Dragon god enjoys his time spent with mortals more than with the divine or even his own children. Bahamut is a benevolent god, sharing wealth from his hoard freely with those in need, while viciously punishing those that would take from it undeservedly. While even-tempered in most interactions, Bahamut is known to fall into a dark despair when Tiamat is mentioned, and fly into a rage when a servant of hers is present. Bahamut is the only known platinum Dragon, however, he usually presents himself as a wandering old tramp, accompanied by seven canaries.
