Elluka is the third child of the Marlon and leads a rather disastrous life.
Married in a hurry to cover up an unplanned pregnancy, her firstborn is stillborn. The second pregnancy goes well and she is able to birth a healthy girl who unfortunately disappears not long after turning two. The third and fourth babies are killed, while the fifth dies of an illness. Her psyche and self-esteem in pieces, she has lost all hope when she is announced pregnant again.
The son she births, Thiebaut Averet , grows up without any incident.
Two years later, she gives birth to a strong little girl, Irina Prim .
The curse that seems to take all of her children quiets down, at least until the Blood River Night, when Thiebaut disappears without leaving any traces. Stumbling upon the dying Lemy Albard , she rescues him in a moment of personal weakness and later explains her decision as a plan to maintain the Greyger’s dominance by making Lemy into their heir.
