Encounter with Enies

Among many other planets in the Adder Galaxy, your gaze is turned to the one called Enies. It looks like it's mostly made of water, with pieces of land here and there.
Upon closer inspection, you see the Eniesans, bipedal creatures who seemed to have settled in the less extreme geographical environments. They've build curious buildings and seem totally unaware that they're being watched right now.
In the shadows of the Eniesans' bustling day-to-day life, you notice other beings quite similar in constitution, yet you are unable to tell why they seem to hide their presence.
A shiver runs down your spine, your presence has been detected by two highly spiritual beings. They make no attempt at communication and keep their discovery to themselves. What could possibly be going on in their minds, you wonder. This is where Eniesians distinguish themselves, you are unable to read their thoughts.
Taking a look at the development of their societies, you sense a pattern of betrayal and vengeance hiding under the surface of their good-intentioned actions. As if some sort of evil was inhabiting the heart of these creatures.
You feel the presence of two divine beings approaching, prompting you to pull back and return to the hidden corners of the universe to observe the future of this planet.
