The Eye of Calthon, after decades of experimentation on elves, creats a life extending elixir.

The Eye of Calthon, under direction from Kalyx, began experimenting to extract whatever it was that gave elves such long lives. After decades, their work finally beared fruit. The Eye kidnapped and experimented on many elves to create the elixir, but Kalyx's life will now extend for much longer, allowing peace to reign in his empire. The elves learn of the role that the Eye played in the disappearance of their kind, and will not soon forget what happened between the two of them.
