The Serpents
The Serpents were a malignant group in Aeris, which intended to overthrow King Drovsel and destroy the beasts through murderous means. Members were identified through skull and serpent necklaces, which contained the material components to a mass-draining spell. If their plan had succeeded, over two hundred Aerites would have perished. Raylin served as the secret figurehead while Tasha Mossizi and Ian Griswold carried out most operations.
Culture
Serpent membership was kept strictly confidential, with most individuals only knowing their recruiter and any of their own recruitees. Despite the presence of a resistane being known by the King and crown, efforts to track down their leadership repeatedly failed.
Disbandment
Most of the Serpents dissolved following the Revolution and death of key figure Tashana Mossizi. Some loyal supporters still exist, but as a whole the organization, and it's will, have died along with its cause.
Technological Level
The Serpents had many members with technical and magical prowess, as they were capable of creating a mass-draining spell machine.
