Bane - God of Oppression and Terror

Bane is the horrific god of terror, oppression and hatred. Bane has influence in all things evil, and is known across Enrakon as a tyrannical dominator. Bane is often represented as a humanoid figure with grey-green skin and a goblin like head with long sharp fingenails. Bane has a loose alliance with Myrkul and Bhaal, forming the pact known as The Dead Three. Legend says that these three were originally mortal men who struck a deal with the old god of death, Jergal and splitted his domain in three, though they eventually lost the main domain of death to a newly ascended Mother of Ravens. Bane and his influence is found all across history in tyrannical goverments and rulers. Stories tell of an event thousands of years ago wherein a new god of death, Vrrothmorr banished The Dead Three to the outer planes and limited their direct influence on Enrakon, though Bane is never truely gone. His followers are always working to place themselves in positions of power to intall oppressive regiments of controll and terror in his name. Multiple cults have attempted to bring Bane back to the material plane with limited success. The multiverse traveling Crimson Soul even once tried to bring him back to imprison him, luckily failing in the process. Followers of Bane are bloodthirsty and calculated. They will wait for years while scheming and plotting. Followers of Bane are spread across the globe, and are hard to identify until they strike. Bane covets those with ambition and drive, feeling that the strong have not only the right, but the duty to oppress the weak.
