Mire of the damned

The mire of the Damned was always a sad, grey, swampy place, where the only life that survived where monsters and swamp creatures. Even when humans came to these wetlands to set up a town and castle, it didn't bring any life to the place, though more travelers and trade were going trough it.
So, you can imagine, when necromancers decided to take over the castle, it didnt get any more joyfull. Now, attop the monsters, also the undead are roaming this part of the Kingdom, and the only people that visit now are adventurers searching for their doom, lifesick humans or the ones that made it even worse, necromancers.
