As a young lad growning up in Sweet Water was a good start, having many friends and people who adore him, he always had his trusty friend Baphomet. When they parted ways Roderick saved the town of New Sorpigal from doom and became a folk hero.
When he heard of Harmondale needing a new lord he went there and met his old pal and reconected. Being drunks, they chatted about plans untill Roderick got invited for a party for a folk hero who saved Avlee, being a hero himself he went and took Baphomet with him.
While being there he met up with the hero and a elven stranger. They chatted for hours and soon they found out they all wanted the same thing.
