Built as part of the Turcten Defense Force during the Kleölelis Forest War, the primary purpose of Fort Loscin was to defend the southern border of the Hinsor Empire from Turcosia and Elven invasion.
Although a non-aggression pact was signed at the end of the Kleölelis Forest War, Fort Loscin remained the most heavily armed and staffed military outpost of the Brotherhood of Unity in eastern Hinsor, rivaled only by Signe, home to the Rynim Knights' Academy for the Knights of Yaosing.

Geography
Fort Loscin in built over Izam Spring, which serves as the source of the Riasi Stream. Eventually, the Riasi Stream meets the Kleölelis River.
