High Cleric of Eion Mathie Quincy (a.k.a. Matt)

Mathie is a wonderful man and Highly devoted to his faith. He tries to find a path of peace if he can but always seeks justice above all else. It was honestly a surprise to me when he returned to our temple to start the path of becoming a cleric, I was sure he would go to the Temple of Hircine, or perhaps even Faolan or Ytriss. However I will forever be grateful for him joining in with us, as he eventually worked his way up to High Cleric and I could never ask for a better equal to help keep the Temple safe.

Personal history

While his twin sister started working as an apprentice in a forge dedicated to Vestus. Mathie started nearby at a temple to Ithar, the God of weaving, sewing, and fashion. There Mathie learned how to weave even the largest size of tapestries typically sold. From there he travelled with his sister to all of the temples of the different deities but returned to the Temple of Eion, though he was sad to have parted with his sister, he worked his way up through the ranks to become the High Cleric.

Religious Views

Mathie is a devout follower of the old ways, specifically Eion the God of Fall. However, Mathie is not one to push religion on anyone and only gives knowledge when it is asked for, which often makes it so that he gets pissed off at the ambassadors of Prillum that frequently try to convert any they come across- Especially followers of the old ways. Due to this frustration he has often caused fights with the Prillum ambassadors once getting himself thrown out of a tavern for breaking a stool on one of the ambassador's heads.
