Ah, The language of my people. It is a made of a lot of different sounds ranging from chirps to growls and is rather hard to write down. Luckilly we tend to stick to oral traditions for our own history, passing down stories from mother to daughter and father to son so that nothing is lost.
Our language evolved like this due to shifting from a seal form to a human form or from human to seal. From what Ive heard its one of the most complicated to understand. But if you should hear a loud roaring growl, Its probably best to back away from the Selkie making the sound.
