Sentient Weapon

Occasionally one can come across a sentient weapon. These are rather rare but usually very special. Sometimes these are created by creatures or people who fear death and so bind their very soul to a weapon so as to never truly die unless the weapon is destroyed. Other times these are created by someone calling a soul from the dead to bind it to a sword; this could be willing as with some family heirlooms so as to teach the next generation their knowledge, or unwilling as a form of revenge so as to never let the person have a peaceful rest until the weapon is destroyed in a specific manner. The last option is the rarest and most often destructive or terrifying, these weapons have the soul or spirit of a Demon or Fae trapped within often to try and contain or get rid of the being should they be tormenting the creator. These weapons can be hard to manage and you should be cautious but they are always interesting to work with.
