Vanoxis Realm of the Demons

Vanoxis. The Demon Realm.
In two words it is both home, and torture for me. In some places its beautiful with large pillars of obsidian and glowing gems. In other places it is dark with pools of lava and acid jagged walls and sounds of anguish rising from the depths.
Vanoxis is a realm divided, even if not visibly in some places. Ruled by a single dictator, The "King of Hell" as he is called, power is the ruling factor in all political relations. On the one hand you have the Regime ruled by Valthorr Thradil, This "King" rules by fear and destruction causing pain and suffering for those who do not bow to his very will. On the other you have the Resistance which seeks to over throw the current ruling "King" and to bring peace and healing to the people.

Geography

Vanoxis is an ever changing realm, changing to reflect the nature of the current reigning King. In some places it has large smooth pillars of obsidian and glowing gems. In other places it is dark with pools of lava and acid. The walls are rough and jagged and sounds of anguish, pain and torture rise from the depths in waves. The strength of the King is revealed in the time and distance of the changes but some parts always change.
Wrath= The walls and ceiling grow rougher and pools of Lava and Acid form and the floor is hot to the touch. Lust= The walls and floor become smooth and a few of the waterfalls turn into an aphrodisiac, and soft sweet scents flow in the air making one more relaxed. Pride= The walls become Tall and arched with many ornamental gardens and fountains Greed= Glowing gems line the walls and the floors change to a slightly golden hue Envy= The walls and ceiling take on a mirror like quality with a special effect revealed if you look close enough. Gluttony= Food gardens flourish and fill available space without much tending and a few waterfalls turn into wine. Sloth= Many little nooks and caves for one to relax in, Once entered you cannot be found by non-magical means.

Tourism

Most people don't visit Vanoxis willingly unless the current ruling King is partially Pride or Lust based due to the fact that most demons, especially wrath demons, don't particularly like outsiders in their homes and as they control the portals they usually keep them shut.
