The Rise of Giants

Life, Milestone

1st year of the Cycle of Dimirun, during the last epoch of Orzhoun, in the Aeon of Boroun.

One of the first primordial races, Giants rose from the mountains and the seas and swamps, and began to coalesce into primitive civilizations.

Born first from the sun-kissed sky were the giants known as Dawn Titans, standing at 14.5 cubits high. After they had dispersed across the continent of Kokintras, They began to exhibit different knacks and skills based on their regional location or environment, and each successive generation began to shrink compared to the last.   In the high mountains of northern Kokintras, The Frost Giants came to be, developing blue, cold resistant skin, with light hair and eyes. They settled out around 11.5 Cubits in height.   In the stormy mountains to the west of Kokintras, Among the jungles and high plateaus, the Storm Giants consolidated power. Ranging in skin color from blues to violets, the Storm Giants were one of the few new giant races that didn't suffer a shrink in size from their predecessors. The Storm giants remain around 14.5 cubits in height, with the only confirmed fossilized cadaver of the race clocking in at 16 cubits.   In the highest peaks of the southern islands, the cloud giants danced among the peaks, controlling clouds and weather and in lore, offering favorable winds for ships passing from one side of the continent to the other, and to explorers branching out to seek new lands on the Eoferan world. The cloud giants are relatively small to the other elemental giants, standing at 10.5 cubits.   In the southern ranges of the main landmass of the continent, around the volcanic Mt. Kokintrasus, were the domain of the fire giants. From records and fossil evidence, it is possible that these giants might have been a precursor to the Dwarven races, since coloration and physical appearance seems to be incredibly similar, despite the discrepancy of scale.
