Eonia

Among the worlds consigned to a Fallen state by the actions of mankind, Eonia stands unique as  the world where the physical and spiritual never separated in the Fall. Mankind did not forget its past days walking with the Creator, and they strove to rebuild their Eden with Words they learned from His Tongue. Alas, as with Atemus and Iva, so fell their efforts under the sphere of the Wyrm. Though freed once more, the children of the first men still stand free to fall or to rise.   And in the untold millennia since their arrival to Eonia, mankind has followed its natural course. Divided and riven by greed, faith, and abuse of knowledge, the disparate groups of humans, elves, dwarves, goblins, orcs, and beastmen now form dozens of peoples and nations, kingdoms and empires. Where once they were united as Children of the Creator, now they bicker and squabble over the world they were meant to caretake.    In trenches of churning blood and mud, knights and paladins war for honor and glory. In skies alight with fire, sailors duel with mighty guns and blades for treasure and freedom. In courts and government halls, politicians and nobles fight subtle battles for nation and duty. All the while, enemies of existence itself stir and prepare to rise against them all.   So come now, and hear the stories of a world not unlike our own Fallen one. Yet, let the escape to Eonia be one filled with hope in darkness. For here, though the battles are grim and terrible, the deaths worth mourning, and the fates rarely kind, the Story has its happy ending.
