Aquan
Aquan commonly refers to a series of dialects spoken by Water dwelling Feravir. Each of the dialects is rather distinct and can only barely communicate within themselves. They share very little in regards to vocabulary, rather they can all find their roots with the Aquan language that traces itself back to the Path of Water.
Originally, Aquan was a very mellow language that seemed to flow and ripple as if water itself. The current dialects descended from this original language still follow a few of these characteristics.
Aouli
The Aouli language consists of croaks, growls, and gurgles. To someone who can't speak the language this would all sound indistinguishable from regular frog or toad sounds. Someone who speaks or knows Aquan would be able to identify the ideas and emotions behind these sounds to an extent. While it is possible to learn to speak Aouli it is nearly impossible for the other races to perfect the language due to not having the proper biology. The only other race who can speak Aouli correctly are the Anthosaurs.Ahkelivir
The Ahkelivr speak their own dialect of Aquan. This dialect is the harshest of the three. Roars, growls, and gnashing of teeth, this aggressive language barely resembles its historical ancestor. Unlike Aouli, this dialect can be spoken more easily by the other races.Oodvir
The Oodvir speak a dialect of Aquan that encompasses many of the original ideas of the ancient Aquan language. Speaking in chirps, and chitters this language is nearly impossible for other races to truly master.Remove these ads. Join the Worldbuilders Guild
