History

The Grey dwarves are an isolated people. After the splitting off from the rest of the dwarves in the ancient days they sequestered themselves deep within the mountains. They are extremely rare on the surface and so not much is known of them or their culture. The few who do travel to the surface speak in round about ways of the dreaming city below.

Interspecies Relations and Assumptions

The grey dwarves have no formal relationship with any of the other races on the surface save for the mountain elves. They trade goods and information with the elves but neither race fully trusts the other. When seen by the other races grey dwarves take no notice of the looks they receive. Most of the surface dwellings would think the Grey dwarf merely a coastal dwarf with strangely pale skin.
