Magical energy is pulled from the the Path of Healing and infused within a flavorless liquid. When this is imbibed the magical energy restores some life to the creature.

Manufacturing process

While the ingredients are easily obtained and the magical energy needed for the spell minimal, the process for creating a healing potion is still time consuming and intensive. Getting the magic to stick to the water is quite the task and many wizards spend several years before they are able to make even the most simple of potions. The stronger the mage, the higher quality of potion that can be created. The only healing potion widely available is created by the enchantment guild in Vestonia. They sell the basic healing potion. While other wizard's potions can be found, they are usually more expensive as the enchantment guild is able to mass produce them with little effort.
Before the mass standardization of the potion's formula each wizard added different ingredients to change the flavor. The most common flavor currently is "Red". most people are still confused on what this is supposed to mean. Local hedgwizards or witches still swear by their bitter concoctions and charismatic potion peddlers might promise a passerby that their strawberry healing potions can cure anything. Travelers are suggested by the enchanters guild to stay skeptical of claims and to trust in the mages at the enchanter's guild.
