The High Council

Structure

The High council sits as the top governing body in the Magocracy of Vestonia. it is made up from the heads of the various section of the The Mages Guild. Each Master from the various disciplines of magic holds a seat at the council and has a voice in how the county will be run. The Head of the council is chosen by a vote and they maintain their position until their death or until the council calls for another vote. As one does not even become a Master of their discipline until very late all of the members of the council are very old and the leader of the council is no different usually being the oldest among them.

Current Members

The members of the council are rather static due to the longevity of mages and all but one of the members have been on the council for at least the last four decades. The youngest member of the council was appointed 15 years ago. The head of the council is Archmage Lyon who is the head of the Transmutation guild.
