History
The Holy Church of the Swamp began as a shamanistic cult with different practices depending on the Aouli village. Eventually as communication and travel increased the rites and customs began to solidify. The Aouli wanted to have a common culture to bind themselves together as the tall folk began to encroach on their territory.
Cosmological Views
The swamp is a constant reminder of the cycle of life. Life and death are constant and both are to be rejoiced in.
Worship
At its core the Church is still shamanistic. it does not worship a god but rather the swamp itself. They follow certain ceremonies by such as baptism in the swamps as well as the blessing and drinking of swamp water.
