Eos

Eos is a verdant and dangerous world with a lost history. The present day is set 500 years after an unexplained magical cataclysm that shattered an ancient and cruel empire known as the Maenar Imperium.   The arcane knowledge, technology, and history that defined and shaped the progression of civilization for millennia have been lost, and the free folk of the land, once thralls of the Imperium, are scattered to the corners of the known world, surviving in fortified, defensible geographies, while the wilds teem with dangerous ruins, twisted magical anomalies, and warring tribes of beastmen and monsters.   Among the denizens of Eos walk a people known as the Manaborn, so called for their close connection to the life-giving Manaflow, the source of magic and power, which courses unseen behind and throughout the planes of existence.   The Manaborn are rare, but possess a potential for martial and magical power that can bend the arc of history to their making.
