While in stasis, you learned two languages: the main language of your race and common. All languages on ER DÓR us a shared script, which is referred to as Tengwar. This script was shared with the sage J.R.R. Tolkein before Earth ended, but it was not widely learned. The common language is Sindarin, which was also shared with the sage. The script, and some basic principles of the language are shared below.

Tengwar was created by Fëanor, the first Mángalas emperor. He called a letter, a written representation of a spoken phoneme (tengwë), a tengwa. The plural of tengwa is tengwar, and this is the name by which Fëanor's writing system became known.
