Societe Pescatoria

Founded by the renowned Nat Pagle, the Societe Pescatoria is a guild for those that like to get their feet wet and to make some money in the process. The DND Beyond feat shows how often you can fish at the various levels. The guild does not have an official guild hall, but manages a permanent stall in the Waterdeep Market called Pagle and Sons. Nat himself can usually be found fishing off one of the docks. Chat him up if you'd like to join!

Determining rarity of fish at a location

• 91-100 All fish up to legendary are present

• 71-90 All fish up to very rare are present

• 51-70 All fish up to rare are present

• 26-50 All fish up to uncommon are present

• 1-25 Only common fish are present

• Level 2 Angler - 2d10 common fish per action

Note: Prices below are for medium fish. Small fish are half-price, Large fish are 2x price, and fish with no size listed are 3x price.

• Common fish - 1sp each

• Uncommon fish - 5sp each

• Rare fish - 1gp each

• Very Rare fish - 5gp each

• Legendary fish - 25gp each

Requirements for levelling

• Level 1 - Character level 1 and complete quest for Nat Pagle

• Level 2 - Character level 3 and complete quest for Nat Pagle

• Level 3 - Character level 5, catch 10 different common fish

• Level 4 - Character level 5, catch 10 different uncommon fish

• Level 5 - Character level 7, Wisdom 11, catch 15 different uncommon fish

• Level 6 - Character level 9, Wisdom 12, catch 5 different rare fish

• Level 7 - Character level 11, Wisdom 13, catch 10 different rare fish

• Level 8 - Character level 13, Wisdom 13, catch 5 different very rare fish

• Level 9 - Character level 15, Wisdom 13, catch 10 different very rare fish

• Grandmaster - Character level 17, Wisdom 16

Fishing Pets

Once you reach Level 3 Angler, you may select a fishing pet from the extras tab of your DNDBeyond character sheet. Your pet, which may not exceed your hit dice, will accompany you when in a compatible environment and will defend you while you are fishing. Selections available are:
