Prathos the Flying Blade
God of Music, Duelists and Hubris, Prathos appears as a dashing swashbuckler eager for a fight. It is said he has never been bested with a blade in a duel or with his trusty fiddle. Along with his never ending search to find a greater swordsman then himself he is also known for his unparalleled musical talents. None can sing, play instruments or dance like Prathos can. Worshipped by glory hounds and aspiring bards Prathos has few formal temples but many small cult followings across the world. Those of his faith are quick to rise to challenge and quick to offer them.
Divine Domains
Taverna Imbroccata is the home to Prathos. A sprawling tavern with various stages, musical ensembles, and a rough and tumble atmosphere where the greatest blades from all the ages drink, inevitably insult one and other, and come to blows in duels of honor.
Holy Books & Codes
Deific Obedience - To become the greatest swordsman, the greatest singer, the greatest dancer, requires practice. To awaken and rise before the sun, before any others and put in the effort necessary to be the best. While the followers of Prathos are braggarts and filled with hubris, it is often earned with the work necessary to survive such boasts. Spend an hour refining your talents, gain a +2 status bonus to Perform, Athletics, or Acrobatics as appropriate to your practice.
Imparted Power: Gain the Domain Initiate Feat, this does not count as a prerequisite for other feats unless you are a Cleric
Duelist Challenge: You look for every opportunity to issue a challenge and prove your skill with the blade. Gain the Duelist Challenge feat. This does not count towards meeting the requirement of the Duelist Archetype.
Advanced Imparted Power: Gain the Advanced Initiate Feat, this does not count as a prerequisite for other feats unless you are a Cleric
Bravado: Your swagger and bravado often carry you thru a difficult situation where a normal adventurer may falter. Whenever you critically succeed an attack or skill check you are filled with confidence. Within the next 10 minutes you may increase the result of any attack, saving roll, or skill check by 1 tier. If this creates a critical success this does not earn you more Bravado.
Divine Symbols & Sigils
A fine dueling blade usually formed into cloak clasp for their favored dueling capes is the symbol of Prathos worn by his followers.
Tenets of Faith
The Edicts of Prathos are to rise to every challenge, seek the hardest, thickest, and most dangerous fight.
It is Anathema to Prathos to refuse any challenge offered.
Holidays
Prathos has few direct followers and such no high holy days.
Divine Goals & Aspirations
Prathos has wandered the cosmos looking for a swordsman that can best him. He has looked to influence many fighting arts upon the mortal plane in hopes of such a swordsman may finally arise.
