Dieter
Dieter
The party met Dieter at the end of the 2nd day after leaving Klosterban, when they were making up camp. A wandering craftsman on his way to sell his wooden figurines in Klosterban. He was grateful to have found fellow travelers on the road and to be able to share their fire. Dieter seemed to be a friendly an somewhat gentle man, that seemed almost unsuited to the life of a wandering merchant. He even got waylaid by bandits that he had to sneak by.
However when Traiborn The Wizard was keeping watch with him, his demeanor seemed to change as he was most interested in those that took care of his little experiment. He awakened and corrupted the serpent tree, hoping it would provide an interesting breeding ground that would please his lord the Beast. Though somewhat successful, it was too isolated of an event and he will have to rethink the usage of nature spirits. Still the mist was a fun touch, though a little too passive for his tastes.
He was intrigued by the people that managed to solve it and didn’t come here to fight (imploring Traiborn not to force his hand), he isn’t sure what to make of them yet. If they’re just mercenaries he doesn’t mind, but if they interfere with his plans again he might have to take action. However, looking at the type of people they are, he wonders if they are not willing to help reshape the land. Should they ever want to join the willing faction, they should head to the slums in Altenheim and follow the Red Canary. Though they should be careful of who they share information with.
He doesn’t know why but he feels disgusted looking a Traiborn.
Wandering into the darkness he yells out one last warning, if you pass a roadsign that points to the Müller family, better stay way if they would so kindly.
