Session 8

General Summary

• We walk back to the couch to Heinz & Bert and find the coach already turn around but surrounded by bodies.
• We hear pig sounds in the surrounding forest but manage to escape them after driving away. 
• Gerhardt/Rayna/Tiberius know the woods quite well, cross check map in book of Davidus Attenborus to locate serpent tree. 
• Tell everything to Gerhardt (except the looting).
• We convinced him to try and help commandeer equipment from the shops.
• He suggested to recruit Rayna the huntress, speak to the Father Jonathan and will help provide 2 guards to accompany us. Also, Tibby wants to talk to us. 
• 6 guards, 5 humans & 1 dwarf, 2 women 
• 2 guards join: Tom (old guy) & Jasper (young lad) 
• We stock up on some weapons at the town armoury 
• Sold orange ring at Selma’s shop for 100g and had her identify the silver ring with stormdragon (Traiborn). 
• Tried to bargain with Tibby to come with us, but his price was waaaaaay to high. 
• Hired Rayna for 20g (10 to be paid up front) => all paid by Gerhardt? 

Visit father Jonathan: 

• We receive a holy hand grenade, some holy water, some holy oil, 2 healing potions 
• Sprinkle with holy water --> circle of salt --> purification ritual --> burn it all --> religion check 
• Go back to tavern, eat, buy Jasper a meal, talk with Rayna, Jasper gets shitfaced drunk => everybody gets one 1d4 for a strength check the next day 
• We take a bath to hopefully remove the pigmen smell 
• Long rest
