Lord of the Nine Hells

Asmodeus is the Lord of the Nine Hells and the god of sin, tyranny, corruption, slavery, domination and ambition.


It is said that he was originally an angel of the high heavens, who served the original creator god of humanity. Asmodeus was the right hand of the human god, and rivaled them with his own divine power. The human god entrusted and bestowed upon much power to Asmodeus, who led the angelic war effort against the Abyss. 


Shortly after the creation of humanity, Asmodeus betrayed the human god, having become corrupted by the very evils he was sworn to destroy. Tempted by his own ambition for more power, Asmodeus tricked and killed the human god, absorbing much of their godly power. The name of the human god was then wiped from history using powerful magics, and humanity was left lost and wandering the mortal realms, ready to be preyed upon.
