The Crimson Dawn

The Crimson Dawn is a secretive and powerful organization that worships the God of Sin. Their members exist within rich and poor alike, from desperate peasant to avaricious noblemen. Gold, riches and a person's darkest desires are granted to members. The cult is fronted as a helping hand to potential recruits, and only reveals their true nature to those who's loyalty is secured.
The group has a host of devils at their disposal and often abducts people in order to use them in sacrifices or rituals. Their preferred victims are those who wouldn't be missed, like beggars, recluses and runaways. They will however occasionally abduct a priest or worshiper of the Divine Court, and then delight in the torture and inevitable murder of the captive.
The ambitions of the cult are bold, as is their leader. They would have the kingdoms of Erathis under Asmodeus' thumb, as vassals for the Nine Hells itself.

Public Agenda

The cult seeks to spread the worship of Asmodeus, the God of Sin. They lure naive folk into joining their ranks with promises of wealth and power. These devil worshipers prey on the impoverished and unfortunate with promises of food, shelter, and reward in exchange for worship and servitude. The group also has several of noble birth in their ranks, adding their influence and wealth to their assets.

Assets

Gold Level 3
Has many secret temples located across northern Onen and beyond.
Has several aristocrats under their influence.

Granted Divine Powers

The cult members who have proven loyal enough to Asmodeus are granted the power to summon and bind devils to the material plane. Sacrifices are needed to perform the summonings, and as such the cult frequently abducts people to use them in their foul rituals.

Political Influence & Intrigue

The cult has a considerable amount of influence in politics as they gain the loyalty of greedy aristocrats looking to advance their position of power. These nobles provide information, weapons and occasionally common folk to be used as sacrifices.
They also have watchful spies within the common folk. Beggars, bards, and peasants serve as the group's eyes and ears, and report the deals and whereabouts of everyone in their range of influence.
Through clever planning and intrigue, the cult has managed to elude the wrath of the Church's Justicars, and is only growing in number with each passing day.
