Basic Information
Anatomy
The Paralyzing Leech is very similar to any leech in its shape: long and narrow, when not fed. It has usually a blue color and small fangs with which it inserts the paralyzing poison into their victims.
Genetics and Reproduction
The Paralyzing Leeches are hermaphrodites, but reproduce sexually with each other. They lay eggs that hatch usually between 6 and 7 weeks.
Growth Rate & Stages
The eggs around 6 weeks after laid. The sexual maturity is reached around 12 weeks after birth, and a leech can live up to 9 months.
Ecology and Habitats
Water bodies in hot places are the optimal habitat for these leeches, that is found in the jungles and rainforests of Northern Melung.
Dietary Needs and Habits
The Paralyzing Leeches feed exclusively of blood. They attack their in swarms, and the high number of individuals summed to the paralyzing toxins of their teeth makes their prey unable to escape.

Perception and Sensory Capabilities
Its two eyes are not fully developed and serve mostly to detect big differences in lighting. They find their preys identifying movements in the water, and have small organs that smell blood.
