Violet Oracles

Uncountable times, Illana was visited by men of great reputation, that came from all over the continent seeking advice about wars, alliances and marriages. She could see the hearth of those men, always so selfish and proud, and the consequences of what they wanted.
Although she had vowed to keep the truth uncovered, also uncountable times she used her power to stop these man, instead of helping them.

Qualifications

The oracles need to show great potential for foreseeing, that can be enhanced through training. The oracle also needs to know the Vision Spells, essential to expand the range of the visions and keep them as clear as possible.

Requirements

A Violet Oracle is always from the lineage of Lienne, the Awake, and needs, obviously, to have the innate foreseeing power.

Duties

The main role of the Oracle is to maintain the facts uncovered, to prevent great schemes like the ones involving Erkhyn and his Priests, which kept the Violet Bay ignorant for centuries.

Responsibilities

There are three main responsibilities of the oracle, expressed in the form of the maxim: "keep your body strong and keep your knowledge real; but, your conscience, that you don't keep.
Regarding the body, an oracle must keep a good health, to prevent that any anomaly jeopardize the previsions. This is obtained with a strict diet and exercises.
Accumulating knowledge is needed to have the most information available about everything. The oracles do that by reading a lot, talking to the people and through their informants.
The conscience is what makes a real oracle, and refers to the ability of "accessing" the information in their mind and "processing" it. To make that real, the oracles meditate during a big part of the day.

Helps to "access" memories faster, even helping to retrieve forgotten info.

Helps the mind to associate the information and foresee the possible results of relevant choices, taking even small details in consideration.
