Eternian (Eh-ter-nee-an)
Eidalaeren are the weakest in magic out of all elves on Erde. Though their innate magic remains, they cannot access it directly and can only channel it through objects. The Eternian Eidalaeren have learned to channel this magic into technology, which has resulted in a technological empire that surpasses any other in all of Erde. They are the only region with trains and airships, and their armor generally is held together with adjusting gears.
While Eternian Eidalaeren are not reclusive, they are generally cut off from the north by the dragon infested mountain ranges. The Eidalaeren and the dragons are ancient enemies, and the Eternians have made it a pastime to utilize their airships for dragonhunting. It is said that the Eidalaeren ancestors slighted Bahamut centuries ago, and his children have not forgiven them.
Much of Eidalaeren contact comes from outsiders, mostly from the seafaring kingdoms that live along the Actean Sea. The Amasha Sea finds trade between Sun Elves and the Eidalaeren. Very few people in the capital will see outsiders unless an emissary traverses the dangerous jungles to visit.
Eidalaeren are the tallest of all elves, and of many races. Both male and females are no shorter than 6 feet in height. Their hair ranges in all colors, from natural to unnatural and is straight, wavy or curly. Their eyes are generally brightly colored in blues, violets and hazel, with brown and green being rarer colors. Their lack of magic has lent to greater strength, so it is not unusual to see muscular Eternians.
