The Monkey King - Heretic God of the Monkey

The deity appears as a human sized monkey with a bow staff. He does take many animal forms when he talks to mortals who worship him. He is a deity who embodies freedom and thinks he is free to do what he pleases. Which is usually sleeping, eating, or pranking other gods and goddesses. If someone tries to control him, he fights with relentless fury. He lives in a pocket dimension that was made by the web mother, exclusively for him. This dimension is a luscious forest full of animals and food ripe for the taking.   His followers believe that they are free to live their life as they please, and if someone would try to control them, they should fight back against that control with all their might.   He is also one of the few deities that monks also worship in their monasteries.   Edicts  Life life freely, drink, play pranks   Anathema  Refuse a reasonable bet or duel, let social pressure change your behavior   Follower Alignments  CG, CN, CE
