The Ruby Dragon

A dragon whose scales and horns are made completely out of rubies. It is said that whenever he is near, the skies change to an orangish, red due to the sun's light reflecting off of his scales. Legends say gem dragons were created by gems from his shattering body during the battle against his siblings: The Aetherium Leviathan and the Demon Drake.
He is a god of community, connections, protection, and wealth. He believes that true happiness is found in your community and the bonds you create. As large empires crumble due to their hubris, the people will remain, as the connections they make, keep them together for generations to come. He also believes in the idea of saving wealth and protecting it. He is also the personification of greed, for greed is not just riches, but the idea of wanting something: wanting to protect yourself or others, wanting to make a better life, wanting to achieve your dreams and passions. Due to this, he and The Bliss Bringer are allied with each other.
Towns, Cities, and Empires built around the beliefs of The Ruby Dragon are some of the most heavily fortified areas of the world due to the belief of protecting what is theirs. Some of the best blacksmiths, military defense specialists, and trade dealers come from these places.
His followers are few and far between. Most, if not all, of the large collective of followers are found in the northern empire of Terrinity "The Gem Nebula". An empire that has lived the test of time due to its incredibly defensive capabilities, focus on putting its empire first, and isolation. Some speculate this is where the faith of The Ruby Dragon started. However, followers have been known to branch out to other areas in search of their own desires. Some come back to their community, while others create new communities all together. Most priests are seen wearing white and red robes, with the high priest painting their body red in respect of their god.
Edicts Protect the ones closest to you (friends, family, community). Protecting your valuables for the sake of potential, future problems. Always try to achieve your desires.
Anathema Allowing your community and people closest to you, to crumble and die. Spend all your riches without consideration for one's own wealth.
