Noble House

A Noble House, or House, is a family within the Korum Empire holding nobility and political power. Noble Houses begin with a House Matron, named in their Founding Papers, legally identifying them and their future descendants as house members. Foir ( House Empire for "by birth") members are those of a House with direct, blood relations to the Matron and have considerable influence within the House, whereas moir ( House Empire for "granted") members, such as those by legal binding, have status but little actual power.
