Nyamark
Beginning in 646, the Empress Lirusyle decreed an anniversary pilgrimage, called a Nyamark, of the eldest child around the lands of the Empire. The goal is to see the people face-to-face, bring gifts, share knowledge and kinship, listen to the people, and find enlightenment in the Empire's unity. As the Empire has grown, a Nyamark that once took a month, can now take close to two years.
